Free fun

So I saw on the Donnelly's blog that they went to Circus Circus to check out the free circus acts. For lack of better things to do, we decided to check it out. Interesting....whoever came up with the idea to ride around on unicycles and catch bowls on your head??? (it was actually pretty entertaining!)

Strange.....

Does anyone find it strange that this is the most expensive inauguration ever and yet there are millions of people out of jobs and our country is in a recession??????? (This is not a political statement...just a frustrating point since a gov't job we really wanted and have been waiting to hear back from was "cancelled". Maybe one of the fireworks displays in Washington could have been our year's salary. Nice thought.)

Last week we were able to attend the baptism of our neighbor! He asked Rob to baptize and confirm him. (We referred the missionaries to him a few months ago) It was such a great experience. (These are the sister missionaries who taught him the lessons) On a sad note, I was released from my calling as YW Beehive advisor the same day. I have been in YW for 4 years, and now I feel like a long lost soul in Relief Society. I actually cried when they told me they were releasing me! So Big. Brooklyn's newest trick! I just can't get enough her her chubby little hands.

Brooklyn has decided to boycott baby food. She wants the real stuff. So here she is enjoying a meal of beans. (She refuses to eat them if I grind them up...big people food please!)
