WE GOT A JOB!!!! (a real one!)

We went to Idaho to escape our job hunting blues, and came back with a great job in Idaho! Rob is the branch manager for ICCU (Idaho central credit union.) He starts June 15. It is absolutely amazing how things just fell into place. We had applied for this job awhile back, and just happened to be in Idaho when they called for an interview. Rob had 3 interviews in one week, and then they offered us the job. His boss told him they usually don't move that fast, but Rob really impressed them. (hey it's my blog, I can brag!!!!) Then we found the CUTEST house to rent (I will put pictures on tomorrow I'm too tired right now.) It's only 3 years old, and has 4 bedrooms/2 bath, and a huge backyard. And the best part... only 30 minutes to Grandma and Grandpas! Life is good!!!!!

Fun Week

We had a fun and busy week. First their was the Riverfest, which we visited both days! On Friday the girls got to play in the bounce house all by themselves! We got tons and tons of free pens, water battles, suckers, etc. Then on Monday our wonderful friends scored some free tickets to the baseball game. We had such a Great time! Happy Mother's Day

I just wanted to wish my wonderful mom a Happy Mother's Day. I miss you lots and I'm grateful your my mom!

Brooklyn is all over the place now. She has started pulling herself up on things which means a whole new set of adventures! She HATES getting her diapers changed, wiggling and crawling away the entire time. So Rob solved that problem by having her hang on his arm. Such a Rob thing to do. (She was not to happy about the arrangement.)

Brooklyn decided to boycott her afternoon nap and 'help' Mommy with the laundry, and what a help she was! She emptied out all of the clean clothes and then scattered them around the room.

Parkinson karaoke! Ava loves to sing us songs on her "stage" while we all clap and sing. Mommy and Daddy even get turns once in a while!

And she's off!

Brooklyn has started crawling! She is so much happier that she can get around to terrorize her sister and undo all of mommy's cleaning!

Donner Museum

A few weekends ago we decided to check out the Donner Museum since it's so close. It was kind of a disapointment. It was a tiny tiny place that had you pay $7 dollars to park. And the only mention of them eating each other was one sentence on a tiny plaque in the corner. (C'mon you know that's what everyone goes to the museum for right? :) And to top the whole experience off, Rob told Ava that this freaky looking mannequin was going to come alive.... which scared Ava to the point of shaking and crying...rather screaming that she did not want to go around the museum. So Rob and I had to take turns looking at the displays.

(Ava making sure the mannequin was still in it's place) Afterwards we took a beautiful scenic drive to some tiny towns. We stopped at one and played on the playground to get wiggles out. This is poor tired Brooklyn who refused to fall asleep!
