Fun Playgroup

Today we had an extra fun playgroup at Whole Foods. The kids got to make bread and then we had a tour of the store where we got free flowers, watermelon, carrots, crackers, cheese, energy bars, and cupcakes. Then it was back to the baking room where we had pizza for lunch, and the kids got their baked bread. SO FUN! We had such a great time. And did I mention it was all FREE! Thanks Shanna and Kris for putting it together.

I wish I could say Wiggles spent most her time here...but she didn't. She wanted mommy to carry her so she could see and touch EVERYTHING within her grasp! Notice Ava's purse...inside was her ever present lipgloss and sunglasses...so grown up!

Running and Swimming

My friend Lacey heard about a 5K that was actually on a Saturday! (They are always on Sundays around here.) So after a two week "training" period we ran yesterday and I about DIED! Yes I know it's only 3 miles, but I am so out of shape, and running on a treadmill is nothing like running hills the entire time! (at least it felt like it.) Of course Rob's younger brother decided to run it the day before and blew past us, finishing way ahead! Oh what it would be like to be 22 again! :) We had a great time and can't wait for our next 5K Klinglers!Later that day we enjoyed incredibly beautiful weather so we filled up the pool. (We spoiled them and brought out hot water from the tap because it wasn't that warm outside!)

Happy Birthday to my Sweet Ava!

Ava turned 3 on Sunday. We ended up having cake at the Easter egg hunt a day early! (She wasn't comlaining!) I can't believe how fast time has gone. She is such a sweet girl and brings so much JOY into our home. We love you so much Ava!

This year we dyed Easter eggs and had a great time. I bought a glitter kit this year...I think next year we will stick to the simple colored ones!

Our week

Instead of telling you how our week has gone...let me just show some pictures that pretty much describe it....

That's right. We had a week of Pink eye, colds and Brooklyn teething. (But check out those cute teeth! Just when I thought she couldn't get any cuter....) The good news is...WE SURVIVED!
