Whose that guy?

Yes, this is my brother and I'm proud of it! Apparently Dustin had been growing out his facial hair all week to create this beautiful mustache! You have to look on Dustin and Jess's blog to see more funny pictures of his mustache.

Spreading the love!

Giving kisses

Can I have some?

Grandma made some of her famous milkshakes so Ava and Ashlynn helped Grandpa drink ALL of his! Of course they didn't eat their dinner, but who wants spaghetti when you can have a milkshake?

4 wheeling

In the winter the Murtaugh Lake goes down which provides a fun place to go 4 wheeling. Ava got to go twice, once in the morning with daddy, uncle Ryan, and Ashy. Then I went with Ava and Rob later that afternoon. It was really chilly, but we had such a fun time.
I told Ava to say cheese in this picture!

Pondering life
Checking out the ice (which Rob said she DIDN'T like walking on!)

Christmas Lights

There is this house in the South Hills that has the BEST christmas lights display I have ever been too. It has to take months to put all the lights up. I tried to get a good picture of it all, but it wouldn't turn out. Anyways it's tradition that we go up at least a couple of times before Christmas! This year was no exception! Ava got to go two nights in a row. There is a GIANT camel that you can feed carrots. Ava liked to feed him carrots as long as she had her gloves on. We were all freezing by the time we were done, but it's definately worth it.

Cousins

I have some hilarious videos of Maddy and Ava playing, but it won't let me put them up right now, so here are some funny pictures. Maddy was entertaining Ava the other night and Ava LOVED it.
Maddy had to go get ready for bed and this is how Ava reacted! She was SO sad and started crying! How sweet is that!
Lilly and Ava coloringThe girls help Grandma decorate the tree....well the older girls helped! Ava and Lilly liked to pull everything off!

Oh baby!

We are excited to announce the new addition to our family expected around May 21! I'm 12 1/2 weeks, and yesterday was our first ultrasound! Everything is looking great and the countdown is on!

Bowling!

So last night a big group of us went bowling. There were 5 couples and every couple has one child ranging from 2 1/2 years to 3 months. Ava loved it.....at first. She would run up to the line and push the ball like a pro. At about the third or fourth frame she lost interest and found more fun in salting her snacks and everyone around her. We all had a great time though! We did have some pretty good bowlers among us!

Pretty in pink!

This year we are going to get lots of use out of Ava's Christmas dress...so she is starting to wear it now!

Blankie in the tub

When I had my back turned to Ava she pulled her blankie in the tub with her. She had just woken up from a nap, and I guess needed some extra loves!

Ward trunk or treat

These are some pictures from our ward trunk or treat. I accidently dropped our camera and the screen in not working, and now apparently the pictures are all black and white. I guess I know what we are getting for christmas. Whoops

Trick or Treat!

We had a very fun, low key Halloween. Ava was a princess. THANKS to Grandma Moyes who made her adorable skirt. Ava looked so cute in it. Rob graciously put on the cow costume, to make me laugh! Anyways ,we just went to a few houses in our neighborhood. Once Ava figured it all out, she would stand on the doorstep and hold her bag out. After they gave her the candy, she would wave and blow a kiss!

At the end of this video, you can hear Kadri call from the bedrom "Ava!", so Ava goes to play!

the Cutest chicken!

Our friends, the Klingler's, little girl was a chicken for Halloween. The other night, Lacey put Ava in the chicken costume and Ava showed us what a chicken.....a very hyper, candy loaded....chicken says!

Ponies and Pumpkins

We took Ava for a pony ride at one of the pumpkin patches and she LOVED it. She didn't want Rob to hold her, and she held on with only one hand. Her pony's name was Silver, but half way through the ride she got bored of Silver and wanted to ride the one behind her. Luckily no one was on it, so she got to!

At the first pumpkin patch we visited!

Leaves!!!!!!

Our neighbors tree (and ours!) dumps a TON of leaves, so this year we bought a rake so Ava could enjoy them. She was pretty hesitant at first, but once she saw mommy have fun in the pile, she decided to join in!

1st official day in nursery!

Yesterday was Ava's First Official Day in nursery! She's been in there for the last couple of months, but Rob and I have always been with her. It was the first time in months and months and months that I have sat through a Young Women's lesson, and Rob and I got to go to Sunday School together!
We all love nursery!

Shout out to Rob!

Rob's 2nd class of the semester is almost over....THANK GOODNESS. His classes are 6 weeks long with a 1 week break in between, and we are all in much need of a week break! His latest class, Organization Behavoir, has been LONG and HARD. The past 6 weeks have consisted of him getting home late from a long day at work, having 30-45 minutes to eat dinner and play with Ava, then spending the rest of the night doing homework till 11. Then he gets up and does it all over again the next day! Rob has been such a trooper though. He tries to come home at lunch and spend some time with Ava if she is awake from her nap. The other day I walked in her room at lunch, and Ava and Rob were at her little table playing with play-doh for a few minutes. Here's Rob in his dress shirt/pants and a tie sitting on a toddler chair, playing with play-doh. What a good dad! Anyways we are so proud of him and his hard work!
This post should have gone second, but oh well. Here is Ava checking out the pumpkin once we lit it!
