Merry Christmas

We decided to spend Christmas at home this year, and we had such a great time! We woke up to 4 inches of new snow! Both girls were on the nice list, so Santa left plenty of presents!
Diva Ava trying on her new sunglasses and princess necklaces

yummy paper!

New Heights

Brooklyn is starting to get a ton of hair...in fact it needs cut around her ears! Anyways here are some fun pics of bath time!

The 12 days of Christmas

So I finally had time to catch up on posting pictures of our Moyes Christmas! Thanks again Grandma for such a fun activity!
Here are the girls opening a fun present for mommy! A cute Tile with a neat saying!

Yea! A chocolate orange and story. Ava took a nap with the choloate orange she was so excited about it!

Wahoo! A train set to color. Ava LOVED this one. And we actually had two of them in our bag (sorry to whoever didn't one!) So we did this twice...two different days...and AVa was so happy!

Ava wasn't sharing the markers so Brooklyn decided to slobber all over her pj's instead!

This night we opened up a present with candy canes and a story about candy canes.

Ava is so sweet to Brooklyn. She opened up a candy cane for herself, and then opened one up for Brooklyn

Too CUTE!

The debate

So I am having a debate as to go private or not...I installed sitemeter on my blog which shows you who is watching your blog, how long, where they are from, etc. There have been people from ALL over...especially a certain one from California, who look at our blog for long long periods of time and that creeps me out. What are your thoughts about going private? (put sitemeter on your blog and see what you think!)
Ava REALLY likes sleeping beauty. This is how I found her as we were getting ready for bed....too bad her "prince" (daddy) wasn't around to wake her up! (I know she looks kinda creepy, but she really is just acting out Sleeping Beauty!)I already have cabin fever! The girls and I took a walk out in the snow...Ava in the sled and Brooklyn in the backpack. (Is it wrong to take your 6 month old outside in the snow? How about in a sled????) Apparently the conditions were just right to soothe Brooklyn to sleep! She snored in my ear the whole walk back!

Daddy's girls

Rob just finished his 3rd semester of school, and now we get to enjoy at 6 week break, which we all deserve! The girls are LOVING having daddy's attention all weekend long.

Anyone want to cuddle with Mommy?...anyone...?

This is Rob's doing. Giving a candy cane to a 6 month old. And I wonder why she doesn't want to eat her vegetables. (she obviously didn't eat the whole thing...just a few sucks!)

12 days of Christmas

Grandma Moyes came up with a super fun idea for this Christmas. She has a gift/activity for the 12 days of Christmas. That way our entire family can all do an activity together even though we are all spread out in different states.
Tonight we read a story about the Christmas tree. Then there were Christmas trees to decorate. (Brooklyn decided to take 2 VERY short naps today, so she was already asleep for the night when we started, hence her absence from the pictures!)
Ava decorating her tree
Then the other night we got to watch the movie ELF and have popcorn! Here are Ava and Brooklyn before the movie started.

Thanks Grandma for such a FUN idea. WE will post pictures of our activity every night till Christmas!

Ward Christmas party

Ava has no desire to see Santa at all. This picture makes me laugh! Ava knew she wasn't supposed to be on the piano, and this is her devious monkey look.

Lacey had a great idea for Kadri, Kaylin, and Ava to sing "Santa Claus is coming to Town." Of course on the Christmas CD I played for Ava, that was the ONE song she said she didn't like! I tried teaching it to her, but she wasn't too interested. (But you should hear her sing Jingle Bells!) Anyways Kadri and Kaylin did a GREAT job singing, and Ava did a great job supporting them! She took a great big bow after the song was over! I was so proud of her for getting up in front of all those people!

The cute girls before they performed.

Baby Brooklyn

Poor Brooklyn got a nasty cold, and then I had her 6 month shots done during the cold. She was NOT a happy camper for about 10 days. But she is finally feeling better and has the smiles to prove it!

Grandma Parkinson

Grandma Parkinson came to spend a few days with us. Unfortunately, both girls had a cold. The first night she was there, Ava ended up getting an ear infection, so she watched Brooklyn all morning while we took Ava to the Dr. (confirmed ear infection) and the pharmacy. Thanks Grandma! We had a great time. Grandma brought a few presents, since we will be spending Christmas in Nevada. She got Ava a cute doll and Brooklyn a computer. Well Ava wanted both. As you can see in the picture, Ava wanted to play with it, but Brooklyn wasn't going to let go of her toy!

Picture overload

So I finally posted a bunch of pictures from Thanksgiving and some of us just hanging out!
Silly Ava This is our cheap Home Depot tree. Ava has to plug in the lights every morning and the lights stay on all day until she goes to bed! I love Christmas. (If you are looking for a cheap good looking tree, head to Home Depot!)

Sitting up

Where did my baby Brooklyn go? She is growing up WAY to fast. We got home from Thanksgiving and I thought I would see how close to sitting up she is...And she's there!
She is so sick a cold or something. (Fever, snotty nose, etc...) She has been very clingly and hates it when you leave her alone even for a second! She wasn't too happy about being on the floor!

What a big girl!

Thanksgiving

We had a fun quick Thanksgiving. I didn't take near enough pictures. We took family pictures, plus I took my two sisters and brothers fam pictures. My entire family was home (I think it that is 29 of us!) We played on the 4 wheelers/tractors, played with cousins. Us Girls went to see Twilight while the boys saw a movie another night. We went Black Friday shopping at 3:30 a.m. and didn't come home till 12:00! (I got some GREAT deals though!) We saw Christmas lights, played games, and enjoyed a GREAT meal made by my mom!
Grandma Moyes has some fun princess dress ups which Ava, Lilly, and Ashy wore most of the time! Grandpa Moyes celebrated his 60th birthday this year, and my mom made him this blanket. All of us families decorated a square.

My sister gave Ava this Carebear costume her daughter had grown out of and Ava LOVES it. I'm not kidding she wore it for 3 days straight. (Bedtime included!)

Both girls were so tired by the time we were headed home. Grandpa went downstairs to watch a movie with Ava and she fell asleep! I think this is such a cute picture!
