Ava loves to look at her books! Every morning we have to sit in her room and look at every book she owns!

Flying a kite

We got a cheap kite to fly the other weekend, but the winds were too strong, and after several attempts to keep the darn thing in the air, Ava lost interest!

Happy Birthday to Rob!

Rob turned 29 on March 11! Happy Birthday!

We went for a walk this morning to Sparks Marina. Ava loved it because there were dogs everywhere and Daddy carried her the whole way! Does it get any better? Anyways here are Rob and Ava chasing the poor ducks....they both thought it was hilarious!

On our walk, it was a little colder than I thought it would be. I put Ava's socks on her hands to keep them warm and she thought it was the funniest thing. Here she is showing off the latest trend!

There is a squirrel living in our yard, and Ava loves to stand at the window and watch for him. If the squirrel is out and about she waves frantically at it!

Not feeling well

For the last week we have all had a nasty cold. Ava got the worst of it and after three sleepless nights, literally, we finally took Ava to the Dr. to find out she had an ear infection. So after some medicine and sleep, we are all starting to feel a little better!

Ava was really miserable here, and only daddy and her blanky could make it better

You can't really tell in this picture, but the alarm clock shows it is 12:37 in the morning. Ava was wide awake at this time and ready to party!
